Dr. Abid Faheem

I hold an MPhil and PhD in Social Science in Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and an M.A. in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

Over the past seven years, I have worked across research, project management, data analysis, and training facilitation in the fields of public health, education, maternal and child health, nutrition, and child rights. My professional journey includes working with organisations such as Nous Network, Unnati Sansthan (UNICEF's Nutrition Project), and Care India, contributing to studies, evaluations, field operations, and knowledge products.

I bring strong grounding in social science research, methodological rigour, and the ability to translate complex data into accessible and actionable insights. I also work with GIS and spatial analysis (QGIS) to visualise district- and community-level patterns in health and socio-economic indicators.
